So basically former United States queens are dominating USA this year. Congrats Susie (Miss Virginia Teen USA) and Courtney (Miss South Carolina USA)!! See you in Las Vegas!

Miss Maryland USA 2011

It's the most wonderful time of the year-- USA pageant season! Congratulations to the new Miss Maryland USA 2011-- Allyn Rose and Miss Maryland Teen USA 2011-- Kirsten Nicholson.

BIOGRAPHY: Nicole is Miss Maryland United States 2009. She was born and raised in Baltimore-- this was her first state title.

EDUCATION: Alum of Mercy High School, graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, and recently obtained her MBA at Loyola College in Maryland.

PLATFORM: No Body's Perfect increases awareness and promotes education on eating disorders.

She continues to advocate for her platform and address topics including destructive decisions and self esteem through speaking engagements state-wide.

She also serves on the Advisory Board for the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education as well as the Executive Board for the Mercy High School Alumni Association.

HOBBIES: She enjoys cooking, networking, running and of course pageantry!
